- Customer name
- Primary contact name
- Email address
Optional Fields
- Phone number
- Customer ID (from your CRM)
- Account manager
- Opportunity ID (for tracking)
Pro Tip: If you’ve integrated with a CRM (Enterprise), you can search and auto-fill customer information.

Step 2: Service Selection
Choose the service(s) you’re quoting.
Service Categories
Services are organized by type:
- Internet Access - DIA, Broadband, Fiber
- Private Networking - MPLS, VPLS, Point-to-Point

Adding Services
- Browse or search for services
- Click Add next to each service
- Multiple services can be added to a single quote
- Services with dependencies are grouped automatically
Service Bundles
Some services are available as bundles (e.g., DIA + SD-WAN). Bundles may offer:
- Discounted pricing
- Pre-configured compatibility
- Faster quoting
Select a bundle instead of individual services when available.
Click Next when all services are added.
Step 3: Site Details
Specify where services will be delivered.
Single Site
For one location:
- Enter street address
- City, state, ZIP
- Building type (office, retail, data center, etc.)
- Access notes (e.g., “Loading dock access required”)
The wizard checks serviceability automatically for some carriers.
Multiple Sites
For enterprise deals with many locations:
Manual Entry Add sites one at a time using the form.
Bulk Import
- Click Import Sites
- Download the Excel template
- Fill in site details
- Upload completed template
- Review and correct any validation errors
Pro Tip: You can mix and match—import most sites in bulk, then manually add unique locations.
Click Next to proceed to configuration.
Step 4: Configuration
This is where the magic happens. Configuration options are specific to each service type and site.
Service-Specific Configuration
For each service, you’ll configure:
Internet Access (DIA)
- Bandwidth (upload/download)
- Interface type (Ethernet, fiber type)
- IP addressing (static IPs, how many)
- SLA (standard, premium)
- Diversity (backup path, diverse POP)
MPLS
- CIR (Committed Information Rate)
- Class of Service
- Number of sites in mesh
- Protocol (BGP, OSPF, static)
SD-WAN
- Number of appliances
- Appliance model (based on bandwidth)
- Cloud controller vs on-premise
- Number of VPN tunnels
Dependencies and Validation
The wizard automatically:
- Validates compatibility (e.g., bandwidth requires specific interface)
- Suggests required options (e.g., managed router for SD-WAN)
- Warns about conflicts (e.g., overlapping IP ranges)
- Calculates required equipment
Example Validation: If you select 1 Gbps bandwidth, the wizard ensures you’ve selected an interface that supports it.
Applying Configurations Across Sites
When quoting multiple sites, save time by:
- Configure the first site completely
- Click Apply to All Sites
- Override specific sites as needed
- Common use case: Same bandwidth, different addresses

Troubleshooting
”Serviceability unknown” message
This means we couldn’t auto-check if service is available at the address. Proceed anyway and verify separately with your carrier.
Can’t proceed to next step
Usually a validation error:
- Look for red error messages
- Required fields are marked with *
- Check that numeric fields have valid values
Pricing seems wrong
Double-check:
- Correct service selected
- Bandwidth entered correctly
- Term length is what you intended
- No accidental discounts applied
If still incorrect, contact support.
Quote won’t export
Possible causes:
- Large number of sites (100+) - Try reducing or splitting quote
- Missing required configuration
- Temporary network issue (for cloud sync)
Try exporting again or use Save Draft to preserve your work.
Advanced Features
Multi-Service Bundling
Quote multiple services for the same site:
- Add all services in Step 2
- Configure each service in Step 4
- Wizard shows combined pricing
- Dependencies handled automatically
Diversity and Redundancy
Configure diverse paths:
- Add primary service (e.g., DIA 100 Mbps)
- In configuration, enable Diversity
- Choose backup type (4G, second fiber path, etc.)
- Pricing reflects both paths
Custom Pricing Rules (Enterprise)
Apply complex pricing logic:
- Volume discounts (discount increases with # of sites)
- Geographic pricing (different rates by region)
- Customer-specific pricing (contract rates)
Configured by admins in Catalog Management.
